L2900 power steering cylinder

I'm removing the cylinder because of a leak and need to know how to remove
the pin in the rod end stopper below the radiator. There is a odd looking cap on top of he pin and I'm not sure if this cap is removed.

Two bolts on the plate lock it in.

Thanks Wolfman I got it off and I'm taking it to the dealer for a rebuild. When I reinstall are there any alignment issues I should be aware of?

If you just pulled the cylinder, nope, no realignment necessary.

What is the actual number on the hydraulic cylinder

i've been into about a dozen of these things this summer. Out of those, a good majority of them, the cylinder bores were worn beyond a reasonable rebuild. Make sure the shop you choose to rebuild the cylinder measures the bore of the cylinder and the bore of the gland where the rod protrudes before ordering/installing parts otherwise you'll be doing it again soon. New cylinder is expensive but it's also an updated part that to my knowledge hasn't had a failure (yet...we'll see in another 20 years or so).

Has only 390 hours on it. I would think the cylinder would be better than that. Although, if the part is an upgraded one it would be worth getting as I hate doing anything twice. But I have no part manual and do not know what the part number is. If you can help.
