If there are any by me, they must be good at swimming with all the rain we had. 50 and rain yesterday, 20 and snow today. Tomorrow must be another 50/rain day.

The only thing I see moving around by me are pole cats. Got to watch when I let the dogs out that they don't try to go investigate.

I agree skeets. I had so many chipmunks I set 2 buckets half full of water and floated sunflower seeds on the top and put a stick up to the rim. Got over 50 of them a couple years ago. Woodchucks end up in a have a heart trap and die of lead poisoning, usually one or 2 rounds. The other creature that bothers me are the 'tree rats', so destructive, climb on the house, try digging at the corners of the house trying to get in. Pellet rifle usually does the trick.

Most of this winter has felt like spring. Except for the -13° days. The worst part, to me, has been the rain and melted snow. I'd rather the snow come, stay until spring and go away. Just makes for a mess.
Forget spring....come on Summer!!!

Ground hogs would have to be 2 and half feet tall or more here to see their head. Wood pile is looking small though.

Wife and I were out yesterday so we stopped in one of the bike shops to price some mods for the new bike. Weather is too bad I can't even take a drive to go see the new one, snow and freezing rain, just plain nasty. Had a look and found a picture of the old bike and used it as my desk top picture. I just keep telling myself it won't be long now. At least I get to play in the Bota today cleaning up the mess that was dropped yesterday.

Except for all he rain keeping me from getting much done, the trees are a budding here. :)

Soon we will be sneezing and coughing and everything will be covered in green pollen.
