Been thinking pretty hard about installing or making up front wheel fenders for both my M's. Did a net search for fenders and came up with zilch.

I really need front fenders, I get a lot of road stuff kicked up by the front wheels especially when the dirt roads are wet, turns my cab windows brown and makes a mess that I have to wash off.

Anyone have any suggestions? remember they are full size ag tractors with big tires and wheels and I would like to have a set that pivot with the wheels but not hit the cowl on full lock. I can space the wheels out if necessary, my wheels are adjustable to 5 different settings.

I would prefer flexible plastic over metal.

I don't remember who but someone on here built a set from black plastic 55 gal drums. The brackets were made to bolt to the knuckle so would steer and pivot with the wheels. So it depends on what kind of room there is on your knuckles where you can mount solid to. As far as the barrel being small diameter than your big M wheels, don't use an end, just cut two bands out of the middle. It's pliable enough you should get away with 2-3 supports to shape it to your wheels.

Then you could also bolt on a truck mudflap to the lower bracket, you can usually find those in the side of the road!
On that thought, some transports have large plastic fenders that cover one set of duals. I've even seen them on trailers. They might be the right radius to match you wheels closer. Modifing them shouldnt look as 'redneck-ish' as the barrel.

Good luck and remember to take pictures!

Flip, you're getting too deep into this snow removal process. You have someone who clears your path for $10. Just pay him and stay home!!:D

That’s odd, I just googled it and came up with a lot of results including OEM.

Went to my BX25 with a front blower after that and have not regretted it since. I have a 3pt blade for rear weight and occasional use, but rely on the front blower for clearing my 500 ft or so of driveway. I have one hill that turns as you come up - difficult to blow at times uphill, depending on slippage, but never a problem downhill. Lesson learned was always blow downhill on steeper slopes, and only uphill on gradual slopes. I just have industrial tires with no chains, I just leave it in 4WD mode all the time.
My recommendation is, for longer driveways and/or irregular driveways, use a front blower. If you have a flat, straight driveway, rear blower may be ok if your neck can stand it...

I feel your pain (in the neck....). I added a video cam to the backside on my M (which had the blower on it as well as a side cam facing right so I can watch the implements without turning. Did the same with the 105 for watching implements.

I ran a Lucknow 76 inch 2 stage double auger blower for years but I sold it and now I have the guy down the road plow the drives. Charges me 10 bucks a plow. Much better than doing it myself and I sold the blower for just about what I paid for it.

The two Kubotas the MSU surplus store has had up for sale have both had front fenders.

They were both set up for snow plowing with front hydraulic blades. This one is still there, you could stop by and see how the fenders are designed.

I photographed the fenders on the other one, since I thought they were interesting. As far as I know that one went back into service and is probably out there plowing right now. Somebody please buy this one and park it out where the snow gods can see it near Lansing.

I may go check that out. I could use a third unit just for raking chores (don't need a loader on it). Wonder if the price is negotiable? We are (wife and I) re MSU alumni. The University Club is our favorite beanery....:)

I found the fenders on the net but no mounts. My wheels and tires are a lot bigger than the small R4's on that unit. 45 bucks each for the fenders.

My 5030 had R4's. I don't consider them to be at all worthwhile for traction.

I have to say that the guy down the road has been plowing out the rental properties drives for NOTHING. Good neighbor. The 10 foot plow I have on the M9 is just too wide to do the driveways so he does it with his Jeep and his 7 foot Western.

He pushes it out in the road and I dispose of it with the 10 footer on the M9.

I can see that next year. front chains will be on the wheels. I'm getting a bit of 'plow steer' when dealing with snow banks.

A logging truck lost a fender in front of my place last summer, and I being a packrat, saved it. It is heavy black polyurethane, and about 2 feet wide and is for a standard? semi truck wheel about 36"? I've cut it in half width wise, and I'm trying to figure out how to attach it to my loader subframe/braces to cover my front wheels. It won't pivot with the wheels, but since it is for a much larger wheel, it doesn't need to, as there is room inside. If I get this sorted out, I'll post something.
