I bought an old plow 15 years ago for my Dad to use on his 863 or his M5700.

I welded up a Quick Tach plate and some C channel I had laying around, all Dad had to do is weld in some bracing and come up with a 2 way cylinder for it.

He never did anything with it, so when I got my tractor I thought I'd finish the job and use it.

I thought it was a 6'6" blade, it's a 7'6" blade. It has a manual turn option on it right now (5/8" pin to pull to turn it either way or straight). I don't have 3rd function kit yet, and would probably just get rear remotes and T into them, but trying to find rear remote kits seems to be beyond my google fu atm.

My little tractor might have a hard time pushing that much snow, at least on the bigger/heavier snowfalls.

TLDR 7.5' snowplow to big for a B2601? and where to find rear remote valve kits for a B2601? :D

The owners manual list 60" as the max blade width for your tractor.

Too wide and probably considerably too heavy.

What s with the two different part numbers?

6C540-93200 =b1654 ?
Don't confuse part Numbers XXXXX-XXXXX
With whole goods numbers like Zxxxx
They are 2 different animals.

Part #'s are single parts or a partial grouping of parts, where a whole good's number is a complete kit or unit.

B1654 is a kit... really half of a kit since it requires B7304 to work?

I buy those two and I'd have a rear remote complete then? Does it come with the couplers and fittings then?

B1655 and B7305 for the second?

I don't know, contact a dealer, as they can get more details. ;)

As far as your plow, if your tractor struggles too much with it, you could always cut some off each end to make it narrower. I built mine out of 8’ Fisher Snowplow. I shortened it by cutting an equal amount off from each end.

FWIW, I have a 72 inch on order for my little L.

Just wide enough to cover the rear wheels while at an angle. The smaller the better IMO.

I would look into cutting the ends off.
