B7100 wont start

I have a very hard starting b7100.turns over real slow.glow plugs feel warm after I turn key back for 30 sec.its about 40 deg f out
Brand new correct size battery and all connections are good.when I finally did get it going the other day it spit look to be raw fuel and white smoke from exhaust. But ran good after that and turned over fine that day.the next day back to VERY slow crank over unless decompressing lever is pulled then it spins great.hooked my truck dual battery set up to it with jumpers and still a slow spin .not enough to start.i did notice when running that over time the Bush hog will slowly drop but dont notice any leaks.tractor only has 1000 hrs on it.it also has a separate pump for front bucket hydo.its almost like to much compression. I had a similar issue with a L kubota one time and it was a hydro line not hooked up to the backhoe.but this doesn't seem to be the case this time.

Also does the glow plug indicator is it supposed to glow orange? It doesn't but I do feel a little warmth from it.i did order a new one along with 3 new glow plugs.

Yes, the indicator should glow orange after 10 or 15 seconds (longer in cold temperatures)

My first guess would be that you have some poor and/or corroded connections between the battery and starter or battery and ground. I know you stated that the connections are good, but does that include both ends of both the ground and power wires? Measure the voltage drop on each wire when cranking. Ideally voltage from one end of a wire to the other should be 0. If you see a volt or two, that's a sign of resistance dropping the voltage.

My next guess would be the starter motor itself needs service. Worn brushes and/or worn bearings and/or dirty commutator.

I think you would benefit from some new parts, start with the battery cables, then move on to a new starter. ;)

I would also get injectors tested, sounds like they are not up to snuff!

There might be some residual fuel pressure going through one or more injectors after a long rest period. This could be causing raw fuel to flow into one or more cylinders. This can cause a liquid lock if there is enough to fill up a cylinder. This cold be the cause of the excess smoke and fuel out of the exhaust.
A couple of other ideas - valve adjustment - or worn cam lobes.

WHY aren't u using the decomp lever EVERYTIME.???
THATS what its FOR.!!!
Sure u "could have" leaking injectors but w/ the decomp lever pulled the fuel would get thrown out BEFORE IT STARTS..
I think IF u start starting it "correctly" all your problems will go away.??

i have tried this.as soon as i let it off it drops right off to a slow roll over
