V2403 vs v2203 shared parts

I can see certain things are shared between the two, like pistons and rods, but are heads the same between the two?

That's a hard question to answer, as there are 2 different types of V2203 engines, IDI and DI,.
Then there is 2 variations of the IDI models and there 4 different variations of the DI model.

I don't think it will cross on any model because I think the valves are too big, but I don't have the 2 to check.

I am only speaking about Standard -M tractor variations. Non Turbo, Non DI

Dig up the parts illustrations for both. Then compare the part numbers. If there's a shared part, they'll carry the same part number.

I have, it was the first thing I did.
Typically I have found the tractor stuff does not work like that. They have similar part numbers but different, however multiple websites that sell new chinese heads show the same part number for both variations.

They appear to have the same V-03 casting.

Did you ever find an answer to this? I have a v2403 with scored cylinders that I need a new block for or would like to swap out the engine for something else that fits as the new one is way
to expensive.
