Read my OP and you will understand.... The CL ad I responded to listed a L1801DT Kabota. I had been using a CL search engine using Kubota with model designation as search words .... then discovered that I was missing some advertised tractors because Kubota had been misspelled. Actually is very common for Kubota to be misspelled.

So I bought a Kabota !!!!

Let me be a little more specific... what is the size of the front tires?

Went back to check tire specs for L2201 since Tractordata.com does not give specs for 1501 or 1801

L2201 standard tires sizes are 8.3-22 and 7-14

If these are the standard sizes for a L1801 then I got a problem because I would have oversize on the back and standard size on the front...

So could that wreck my transfer case ???

Also .... Tractordata.com information can be wrong.

Well .... very interesting.... BKT sells a 9.5 22 tire that is from the exact same mold as the Bridgestone tires on my tractor...

Here they are and good price too ! Maybe BKT bought the molds from Bridgestone because these BKT are exact duplicate of tires on my tractor.

I don't think that CL ad helped your case any....
I'll give them credit...It's a $wheel drive, that is only slightly misleading, leaning towards 4wd, which that tractor is not.
And come on... one has to be a complete tool bag to have the picture of the tractor right in front of you and not realize that you are completely screwing up the name, or your evil wife told you to sell it and your doing everything you can to tank the listing.

As far as tire size goes, find a flat hard surface, put the tractor in 4wd and push it if it rolls with little to no resistance then the ratio should be close enough not to damage anything.

Its not really a misspelling .... it is a typo ...But the spell check feature indicates that Kubota is misspelled

Imagine that !!!!!

A kubota forum and the spell check feature indicates K U B O T A..... is a misspelled word !!!!
