I own a B7800 that I had the Kubota dealer install a BH77 about 2 years ago. Everything work but the system seems unable to flow enough and backhoe is incredibly slow. Also the 3 point seems to whine more but that could be me hearing things. I went over the lines and they appear to be installed as per the manual.
Ideally I would like to keep the rear lines for a remote and convert the backhoe to a self contained pto pump and tank.
My questions are...
What size pump would work best?
How would I convert the valve to go from power beyond to a open center?
Thank you, Bob

Before you jump into converting the whole thing out, do some pressure tests.
You could very likely have a relief valve issue causing it to be slow and weak.
Much cheaper to fix it than replace everything!

You need to check with Kubota to see how much the gpm is on that equipment.
Woods backhoes, for example need around 7 gpm for the 80 series hoe.
But check the operation of your tractor first. Might be a simple fix.

I just bought a used BH77 for my B7800. I am trying to get a subframe to attach it and I read that the correct subframe for this is a BH4874. The Kubota dealer is telling me they can't find any listing for a 4874 subframe. can you tell me what subframe was used in your case?

An additional thought. Could there be restrictors in you lines designed to slow backhoe operation? Restrictors are often used for this purpose. Who knows? Might be your issue.

My loader operates pretty fast on my B2910, same tractor as yours basically. My backhoe has a PTO pump, but my gut is telling me the tractor hydraulics should be enough to move the backhoe at a reasonable speed. With my PTO pump I usually run the engine at about 1800 RPM. Faster is jerky for me.

Just a thought...
