I live in the snowy northeast, i have yet to need chains on my BX23s.
My JohnDeere was another story, because my JD420 tractor is only 2WD.

Both my tractors perform about the same in the snow. (for plowing snow anyways)
My 4WD BX without chains does as good as my other tractor with 2WD with chains.

Kind of a balance i guess

I dont think i`ll ever need to put chains on this little BX, has loaded R4`s, and the backhoe stays on it during winter.

These are the spacers I have. There are at least 3 reviews from buyers who said they used them on BX tractors. I have not had a chance to install mine yet.

As far as I know, all BX tractors are the same 5x4.5 lug pattern so they will fit.

I found these 1.25 inch extenders that are hub centric and ordered them. I am not sure if the hub size is right but I will return them if they are not. I decided to just take a chance. For the price, it is worth ordering them to see if they fit.They should arrive by Dec 14th. I will certainly know for sure the following day when I put them on.
