Hydraulics whining, normal?

First year with the BX1500, No whining with MMM all summer, Installed a Hydraulic system and valve, drained and filled with super UDT, Plow works wonderfully, and reacts quickly, but the system "whines"

Is this normal?

Guessing a 3rd function for the plow angle on the loader?

Installed a complete Kubota Hyd. system including a new "Hyd system block on the tranny, Kubota hard lines routed around the engine to the Kubota loader (Joystick) valve system on the Kubota frame-mounted pedestal.

Works great, just loud whine....

The whine could be a pressure relief valve not working properly.

What was the P/N of the kit?

Use a hydraulic pressure gauge to read what your pressure is set to.. it should be between 1700-1800psi.. if it’s much lower or much higher then the pressure relief valve could be the culprit.. this is a rather old tractor and those relief springs on the valves don’t last forever.. eventually they get weak and If it’s weak then you’ll see that in the pressure test with it being low.. if it’s low then the noise your hearing could be it reliving itself too soon/early..

Other than that, check your hydro fluid level.. check if there is any metal in the filter or on the dipstick or relief valve.. if the oil is dirty then change it and report back.
