MX5200HST Transmission Filter

I have a new MX5200HST. The operators manual calls for both the "Transmission oil filter HST" and the "Hydraulic oil filter HST" to be changed at 50 hours. Is this an error or are there two separate filters for the hydraulic oil?

Yes it is considered the break in period for the hst and if missed could cause issues.

Double-check these numbers but the hydraulic oil filter is HHTA0-37710;
hydrostat filter HHTA0-59900;
and engine oil filter HH164-32430.

Mine is MX 5100 and I have HST filter and a reservoir filter. They are expensive from kubota, but this is NOT your best opportunity to save $.

Same for crankcase filter, stay w/ OEM.

You are fortunate. The UDT in my tractor was NOT synthetic, so the OM required a filter + fluid change.

Yes there are two hydraulic fluid filters, one that runs the main system and another that just runs the hydrostat.

There are two filters, a Hydraulic suction filter on the Right side of your tractor and an HST filter on the Left side of the tractor. Your new HST filter will be painted yellow.
