Are the stock industrial tires on the bx garbage? I have had a bx 2360, and the tires fell off the rims, tho they were old. Then i just got a bx 23s new, used it for a few hours and my front tire was flat. I replaced the front tires on the older one to ply 8 and never had a problem after. Are the ply 4 new kubtoa tires just garbage? Ply 4 seems way to little for a tractor to me, my atv tires arent even that low. Especially with a front loader. I kinda wish i kept the 8 ply, seems like the stock tires like low end trash tires. You would think buying a 20k plus machine you would get good tires.

It also seems to me low profile 10 inch tires are garbage, tho the 8 ply i got off of amazon were decent. Is there better bigger rims for a bx? I dono maybe my dealer is stupid and didnt put enough air in it, they did have the secondary hydraulic line on the front so lose it was shooting fluid all over.

I know the stock atv tires on my rtv are garbage. They are almost balled at 1100 miles haha. Though to be fair i used them on the road alot, i have 8ply radial tires for it i just wanted to see what the stocks were like, andthey were garbage from the start. Thoughi have high expectations for tires.

There are no holes in it, it was just flat in the morning.

One of my front tires started going flat after about 100 hours. The other one has never had a problem.

One time when it was very low on air, I put some Slim in it and finished filling it up with air and it hasn't lost any air since. Knock on air. :D

My dealer told me that some times the bead on the rim will twist a little causing it to slowly lose air.

Flat front tires seems to be a pretty common complaint. There has to be something to it, for there to be so many mentions of it. Might not be the tires, though- it could be the valve stems, for instance.

Yeah, I've also seen many complaints over the years here on OTT. I had one that was a problem on my BX.

I think mine was a bead, and suspect that's the culprit for many. Seems like a member here heard that from a dealer awhile back, just like mickeyd did, so there's got to be something to it.....

Didn't want to, but I put Slime in that one several years ago. No issue since.

The front tires are a problem known to the BX series....I have placed more air in them over the last 5 years than all the cars I have owned.

Not the valve stems......has something to do with the seal/bead ...I have jacked it up and taken them off and checked for air leaks, cannot find anything.

I have the ol slime in there and that has helped a lot. Tubes are the best idea period. I have not reached that point just yet.

There are been those that have watched the tires roll around the rim .....'specially in 4wd!

Tube them and forget em!

Bingo.

I bought my B1750 HSDT new in 1993.

About 10-15 years the front tires both developed slow leaks, requiring me to add air 2 or 3 times each year.

After installing tubes, I do not remember ever adding air since.

Note: Buy good tubes. There are lots of cheap tubes on the market that will not hold up.

Thanks for the replies, it was flat today to. I found the problem there was a slice in it, right on the back bottom of one of the treads. So they are just terrible tires haha, 5 hours on it and i already have a flat. Guess 20 grand isnt enough to get good tires. The rtv tires have slices in them too, but they are 6 ply so havent went flat yet, still garbage tires though. I give them a week more befor they start going flat.

Guess i will just have to suck it up and get the better tires. 4 ply is just not enough, they are like garden mower tires. I really wish i kept the ones from the 2360 they went over rocks, glass, boards, garbage, tin, and broken cinder blocks loaded no problems. I will have to get them again. The first pair on it though were the kubota stock junk tires, and some one put that slime stuff in it. So when i took them off nasty green stuff all over hahahha. Thats why i wouldnt use that stuff ever. I did try a tube first on the 2360 it lasted one trip around the field and went flat. The dealer put it in not me so i dono if they messed it up, went with those tires after that.

Lol great now I noticed that the tires them self both wobble, like bad. Damn the front rims and tires on the bx suck bad.

I've got through a lot of tires, tons of tubes and several failed rims. Blown the tilt cylinder twice. Replaced all the seals on the front axle. 1378 hours on my 2015 BX25D and I admit I am probably overloading the front end.

If you do tube it get the brass nipples with nuts that bolt to the rim. I also use spray glue inside the tires...keeps the tubes from slipping and reduces pinch flats.
