Just curious, how many of you were actually given a filled out Pre Delivery Inspection Sheet by the dealer? I sure didn't get one!

As you may have already guessed I didnt get one. Just a little over 10 hours and I was getting ready to grease the tie rods and other zerks two days ago when I discovered that the tie rod ends havent seen a drop of grease, in addition to other problems Ive encountered. So I dont know if they expect the customer to do these things upon delivery ???. I wouldnt think so. Just so Im clear, this is a dealer problem for me and not a direct Kubota problem but Kubota needs to know imo.

I received the checklist. It was already filled out with everything being checked as done, and they asked me to sign it. I asked "Am I supposed to sign verifying that you guys did all this?" They said no, just signing that you received the checklist, and told me yes, everything was actually done. So far I haven't found any issues with those types of things. I would agree that Kubota should be aware of what is going on there.

That isn't the actual checklist. I have one as a .txt file:

Is the tractor/implement orange? Check one.

Yes___
No___

If yes, deliver to customer address. If no, deliver to nearest John Deere facility.

LOL! When I workd for deere, I actually had techs that worked in the shop that were about at that level. Thankfully they weren't around very long.

When I first started Kubota stuff, I got to learn about sales stuff. Cause, well, I thought I wanted to be one. (nope! I'm too technical...had to go to the shop).

Anyway, one of the things that that particular dealership had was a checklist that the customer signed. On that checklist, which was pretty simple, it basically says "I received the following...."--which was, among a few other things, the PDI sheet. You want to know how many times I saw people just sign stuff and not think about what they were signing? When I bought a new outboard a few weeks back, the dealer had me sign a few things....and I still remember almost every word of every document. Ya gotta pay attention to this stuff.
