ISO D1302 engine for L275

I recently purchased a L275 without head. The engine block may be salvageable
but it is missing parts. Anyone out there have a used compleat engine for sale? I am finding out that I need a d1302 which is pretty hard to come by.
Any suggestions what other engine may fit?

have you checked the Ultimate sticky and contacted the used parts suppliers listed there?

I believe any xx02 up to the 1502 engine will fit. Could be at 1702 is where it changed to much for backward compatibility? but....detail is in here cause this has been discussed before. Maybe searching for "1302" will help find threads on this topic.

I am also in search for a D1302 for my L275. Mine ate a piston for dinner and didn't pay the bill. Everything still looks good except needs piston and sleeve ect. Question is has anyone changed sleeves in a D1302 to D1402 they use same rods and crank from what I have read. I could always use a few more HP and since I will be in there anyway I plan on rebuilding but would rather it be a D1402. Any help would be great.
