Any other owners out there? Feedback and experiences?
I am upgrading from my L4630 which has been used primarily for snow removal and some light timber and firewood logging with a 3ph drawbar.
I plan to put a logging winch on the 3ph, a QA grapple on the FEL and do more intensive woods work with bigger timber and wanted the extra HP of the L5740.
I found a machine, 2012 1300hrs $30K
What do you think?

I can't help you on a fair price, bought mine some time ago, but I sure am happy with my L5740HSTC. I have Tnt, third function valve, grapple and wheel weights.

I have a MX, and it is not as adapt at logging work as you might anticipate. Remember, there is no frame, same w/ any compact, strength is still just a bolted connection from engine to transmission housing.

I added an aftermarket all glass cab, Agrital, 900 lbs, but it is still a lightweight in the woods. Cautiously suggest you consider tempering your expectations for logging.

As far as snow removal, you will likely be pleased.

I am not talking about commercial scale logging but I do have 50 acres of woodland that I have been managing for the past 25 years and it does require occasional harvests.
I know my skidding limits based on my experience with the L4630 with no winch.

Price out the new version. 30K seems a tad on the high side to me.
The problem with that is that one can no longer buy a 5740.

The replacement is the more expensive L6060 with the TIER IV nonsense.

I wanted to avoid that nonsense.
I know the new price of this rig was about what they are asking used today.
