Can anyone tell me the model number of this Kubota? It seems to have no identifying numbers and we need to get a parts manual. Thanks for any help. (it's 4 wheel drive)
Hi and welcome to the OTT forum! Judging from your 1st pic I think you have one of those EXTREMELY rare upside down Kubotas. There have been a few of those posted lately but they are as rare as Ridley motorcycles so hang onto it!

Looks like an older L ....not the L185 nor L175.....damn good guess,

flipping the picture - look at the vents on the side....see the angle? those are NOT parallel to the hood, have a slant backwards.

someone can ID this ol girl I am sure!:D

It's basically a refurbished 3-cylinder Kubota L305, made in the '70s - but it was likely sold as a ZenNoh ZL series tractor. For a time decent low-hour Kubota machines were being reconditioned, repainted and exported to the U.S. with a warrantee by several dealers (example here). The ZenNoh's new paint was more red, the loader was from Japan (and wasn't available when the original Kubota was first sold). Other little things identify it like the alternator is painted blue. The original Kubotas were rugged and long-lasting. ZenNoh units are probably fine as well.

Here's a link to some information on the Zen-Noh tractors. It is dated 2006.

Here's an excerpt from one of the threads, "...but i believe I can shed some light on the true identity of your Kubota/Zen Noh. I have a Zen Noh L2000 which is nearly identical to a Kubota L225, as you can see I live in Australia and this is a common graymarket import. I believe your tractor is a Zen Noh L1801, Zen Noh is a major rice Company/Co-op in Japan which purchases these tractors labeled Zen Noh ( I believe it is for status or image! ). Due to the the method of cultivation of rice the tractors do very little work in a year and also controlled by very strict Government laws and are sold often with as little as 500 to 1000 hours on the clock. My tractor was imported with a 2 point linkage rotor tillet on it which would probably never been taken off. The end result is they are in very good condition having only worked in soil that has been tilled for thousands of years and not subjected to the hard and varied life that their brothers are probably subjected to both in Aus and the U.S. I have found my Zen Noh/Kubota brilliant and wouldn't swap it for ..."
