Anyone else try these yet ?

Im a big fan of Pats and havent purchased yet and so I have founds these Field Tuffs cheaper than Pats and was wanting to hear reviews before buying them.

Also I once called Pats when I first received them and explained that I accidentally bent my spacer arm and they said no problem and mailed me a new one even though I admitted to damaging it myself. Im sure they would have question doing it again a second time, had I done it, but I was impressed with Pats customer service on that first and only phone call. Not much should go wrong with them but still.

One problem is that I cant find any customer contact info for Field Tuff or see who makes them ???

I bought the QH10 hitch and really like it. I look back on changing implements on the 2 old Fords I have owned and just shake my head at how HI-Tech I am now. I can't go back to shoveing & pulling trying to line up.

how much loss of lift power does one get by lengthening their arms by using quick hitch like these?

wondering if it would be worth having a machine shop shortening them to get OEM length back into the arms after adding ones like PATS or any other type.

Do you know where to find more info on those?
You can purchase them here:

https://www.agristoreusa.com/collections/linkage-parts There are other places that sell them too.

These don't rely on shims or u-bolts to hold their positions and one doesn't have to alter any of their implement's drive shafts, etc for it match up to the tractor. They work even if the implement is not perfectly square or level with the tractor.

Here's a picture of them on my M7060. I machined new telescoping holders and welded them to those. This way, I still had the "captive" ball links that came with the tractor should I need them - but so far I haven't.

Here is another video showing these quick change hooks:

Yeah, I would need Cat 1's. Otherwise i'd have to shim all my implements with Cat 2 bushings. I do not mind the idea of cutting and welding these on. I like the idea of nothing actually changing except i would have a helluva lot less hassle hooking up the heavy implements. Thank you for the info. I'll have to do some looking around to see about modding everything i have to Cat 2 lower pins.

I don't know if they are from Case IH as a factory thing but i know my neighbor runs them on both of his 200+ horsepower Case IH's, whatever category they use.

You won't have to modify any of your implements! All you'll need to do is buy the balls that have a Cat 1 hole.

One thing nice about this system is that the hooks allow the balls to rotate in any direction - just like the captive balls do.

Anyway, I like this system as most of the equipment for my row crop tractors is Cat 3 and there is no way I can "manhandle" it to connect it. Using these quick hooks eliminates that problem entirely! In Europe this is the common hitch system and in the U.S. all the front 3PH come with these.

Do you have to use the Cat 2-1 ball, or can you use the bushings sleeves? I'm not seeing the 2-1 ball on that site.

I think they sell the 2-1 ball - you might shoot them an email and ask. I like the winged balls as they make connection of the implement even easier.

Note:
The lower link hooks were originally made by Walterscheid so if one does a google search using tractor lower link hooks one can find other companies knock offs.

Yeah that's my go to, right now. Doesn't work to well on a 700lb tiller tho, unfortunately.

mbu, i appreciate all the info. I'll be doing more research on this conversion.
