Even though you charged the battery, it still may be giving you problems. I would try to put the battery under a load test. I had the same problem with my Allis 5040 about a month ago. I thought the starter was out because I charged two different batteries (the one in the tractor and I borrowed the one off the boat) and both would only make the solenoid click. I put them under a load test and both showed bad. I got a new battery from Wal-Mart and the tractor started right up and has worked well ever since.

If you have not done so already, make sure the two battery leads are clean and tight at both ends and the battery is fully charged. This should be a good starting point for all electrial faults and is often overlooked.

Agree with the others. Seems like not enough amps are getting to the starter.

Make sure the posts/connectors are clean and there is a good ground. You can eliminate the possibility of wiring problems by using an automobile jumper cable to directly connect the battery to the solenoid and the ground post to the starter.

If your charger has a "start" setting (high amps) give that a try. It should kick over the tractor with no problem.

Sam's Club has the large, 200 amp, multi-function charger for about $80.

OE stands for Original Equipment. The battery cables may be going bad.
That is where using battery jumper cables would bypass the OE wiring and determine if it was faulty. Of course, connect directly to the battery posts rather than the OE cable clamps.
