I,m still alive kids went to the ER on the 26th spent 6 days waiting and woke up with a bag hanging from my belly! Seems they took out about 18 inches of guts yuck. So they sent me to a skilled nursing complex. Maybe another week before sending me home. I guess things must have been not good. It took 5 plus hours for the slice and dice

Welcome back! Glad you are all stitched up and on the mend. Do what they tell you and take it easy. They are the experts on the human machine.

Three weeks and not hearing from you makes us wonder if you're on summer hiatus, mad at us, or out of commission...

Thanks for giving us an update, try to come up with a good joke and post it once in a while, just so we know you kicking!!

Get to feeling better.

Welcome back. I was about to start a rumor that you ran off with a roller derby team.

Brother Skeets,

Don't you know there are simpler and easier weight loss methods out there that don't involve scalpels, staples, sutures, and pain? Eat the food. Lose the weight!

Well, we hope you heal up quickly and get back to work. Them chores won't do themselves. :)

OH Jeez, he's back... Hide the whiskey, wear a blindfold for the bad jokes, and ear plugs for the singing!

Seriously... Very glad your back, I had a scare with the inner workings years ago myself, nothing worse! :(
Take it easy, recover, and check in when you can! ;)

Brother Skeets...

Awful quiet at your end. Throw us a bone out here so we know you are mending well. In the meantime, we'll keep you in our prayers.

(Sorry for the dupe. I hit SEND and it never showed up the first try. I hope Skeets Docs are having better luck.)

We all struggle with our own problems and they vary immensely. I'm sure this board is the only way most of us know each other and like in this case when Skeets was MIA we all wandered what was going on. A double heaping handful here post quiet often and I too wander sometimes when I see a post that xxx has not responded to because I know they have the answer I wander why. Are they OK, just busy, sick, etc?

So Skeets, glad to know you are on the mend, be a good patient and come on back soon.

Jay
