There is a three prong electrical connector about 8 in front of the fuel filter. Some varmint chewed it and pulled wires out of harness. Can someone tell me what order the wires go into the plug. Colors are: Black, purple w/yellow, blue w/red. I have no tack reading without these wires connected and have no idea what else it controls. Tractor does crank.

THANK FOR ANY AND ALL HELP!

This IS on a B2650?

possible to see the other wires in the other side of the electrical connector? I would think that the same colored wires come in the female as leaving the male ends. Might need a good flashlight to get in there to see.

It is a B 2650. The harness plugs into the side of the engine with no wiring exposed. Any idea of what this wiring harness controls other than the tach?

Ft Mill, you can help us out by adding pictures of your instrument panel, the wiring as going to the side of the engine, and its connector where chewed up.

Is your machine the cabin model?

As 100 td noted, on the non-cabin model there is a violet/yellow wire coming from the Bi-speed turn switch to instrument panel pin 9. The blue/red wires come from the panel/opc fuse and go lots of places. You may have more than one problem.

Pictures will really help.
