Bucket Pins

I am excited to have found a local farmer that had a rock bucket and is willing to loan it to me.

I have an extra Titan adapter plate on hand and will be fabricating some pin brackets to match the older John Deere style bucket mounts this thing has.

The holes in the bucket mounts are exactly 1". My question is what size pin should I buy? Obviously they will have to be something smaller than the 1" holes but how much smaller?

1" pins should fit it as the pins will be slightly less than 1".
