idiot lights on

So, I was messing about with lights and I thought the easiest thing to do was to start a new fusebox. I took temporary 12v and permanent 12v from the back of the ignition. I installed a new fusebox on both these feeds. I brought power to a beacon LED through a switch with an LED 'light on' indicator. I brought earth back as far as the switch and earthed both to an existing earth. everything works except that now my dash lights for oil pressure and battery are constantly lit when the tractor is running. I have checked everything and now I have disconnected everything I did but still the dash lights.
Any help please.

When you say temporary 12V do you mean switched 12V?
And which Switched 12V did you use?
AC, G1, G2 ?

I too am a little confused on your statement......

But it sounds like to me is that you are backfeeding the switched 12v via the always hot 12v

IF you are making a new fuse box (great idea btw) run the constant hot to IT and then fuse out from there.

THEN if you want lights to come on via the ignition - then tap into that feed for your relay - the power will come from the constant fuse HOT - but it will only be hot when the key/switch is on, such as the lights...

Sorry Guys,
Thanks for the replies. By temporary I did mean switched. I took the switched and live feeds from the only points that I could find that were switched and live on the back off the ignition switch. I don't know what they were called and I haven't had time to check since. Maybe tomorrow.
What I am trying to achieve is to have things like the Hazard Flashers and Marker Lights stay on without the tractor running and everything else to go off with the key.
All lights will be LED if that makes any difference.
I'm no electrician. All I have ever done is put some lights on a MF 135 thirty years ago.
Do I need a relay if I have a switched supply from the ignition?
