Walk into a bar... :D No... wait.. they got installed in my tractor today.

It was almost 70 today, after a week of ice. So, I installed my BXpanded Piranah tooth bar, Kens Clevis mounts, and Gun Graber rack.

The tooth bar went on super easy. Really solid. (I also got the root ripper too)

The Clevis mounts were equally easy and solid. I used the step bit that came with the tooth bar, and it went like butter. Painted them with six coats of Kubota Orange.

I attached the Gun Grabber mount with 20in zip ties. Its solid on the ROPs. They do make an orange ATV version that I might buy and install. But This base version here is very solid. The shotgun locks in quick and secure. It comes out with a pull up and out. Happy with it.

I thought you werent supposed to get dirt on it? I’ve been sitting on the seat making tractor noises inbetween sessions of rubbing it down with a silk cloth while whispering to myself “thats a pretty tractor”.

:D

Yessir, got it for Christmas. I have a 28 acre playpen for it, and a life of servitude for the poor orange thing. It’s kind of like getting a new wife. Get it all prettied up for pictures when new, then work it the next 30 years.

Soon.

Nice mods, whats next? :D
Thats a great question!

First up is turning an overgrown dirt road into a gravel driveway. Then removing some trees and stumps. I have it outfitted for that task now.

Then comes some utility running and foundation making. I will probably get a narrow backhoe bucket for that.

Then she will assist with a little timber framing. Pallet forks there. Who knows what ill need.

Then life building out a hobby farm from raw land.

Nice rig and like the rifle holder need to add that to my mod list.

Question, why did you choose that clevis style instead of a hook which could grab a chain link?

Was think you could have a chain with hook on one end and link on the other and leave it attached all the time when using it and it would stay put?

Just curious like to learn.

Nice rig.

Where did you get the street pads for the hoe? Looking for a reasonably priced set for my BH77.

After I install my piranha tooth bar I'll be checking out Ken's Hooks and Mounts. Still not sure what would suit my needs best, love your setup it's helping me decide.

I thought hard about it. I went with clevis mounts because I can attach hoops, strap hooks, or chain hooks to it, in any combination. My bucket wont allow me to use the double plate hook/clevis mounts Ken makes, so I thought this was a good compromise. The clevis mounted chain hooks dont have as much load rating, but are still quite tough.

The dealer threw them in. Not sure what they cost, but I like them so far.

Oh.. I have lots of trees for now. Cutting them is a priority though. Going to make for an interesting first few trips through the woods.

Thank you. I havent got to use them yet, but service and product qulity, and shipping from both Ken and BXpanded are excellent. Can't go wrong. One tip, use a good step bit for both. I used the one that comes as an option with the tooth bar. Huge time saver.

Oh you tempt me. If I though I could clear land with a Ma Deuce and Tannerite, I would. :D
Now that sounds like an even better land clearing plan. Imagine how much more seat-time you'd be spending then? In addition, think of the wear-n-tear you'd be saving on your FEL! You could use a carry all for all that belt fed ammo you'd need too!

Good job. I installed the pirania bar a few months ago. Makes a big difference. I too like keeping my tractor shinny and clean, i even seramic coated my hood and fenders. It's a curse.
