85, skeets, D2, sheepfarmer & all the rest of you who have helped me along the journey..

Want to thank this awesome community for everything. You guys have a rockin forum & fantastic atmosphere.

I have learned a ton from you guys & will apply it going forward.

that brings me to the news of this thread:

my awesome little B2601 is no longer mine.

the good: great tractor & fantastic little piece of equipment... just went to something a little bigger. (if its better or not will be determined in action)

the bad: it wasnt a Kubota.

Reason: what im asking it to do has increased way more than we thought it would & its out of the scope of the B2601 without really taxing it & thats just not something i personally do with equipment. would rather have too much than too little & "hurt" it.

dont like any of the Kubo's above the 2601 until you get to that Grand L like Sheepfarmer has & thats just too much tractor for my spaces/trails...

some of you already know, got the Kioti CK4010 now.. more weight/power, frame still fits my spaces.

so im Kubota-less &this is a Kubota forum......

again: thank you to all here for everything!

Congrats on the new tractor. You can still stay around, and offer advise, comments and such. Just because you don't own a Kubota anymore, you don't have to jump ship and leave us :D

I'm a huge Kubota fan like most of us here. But also recognise my budget or needs may put me onto another brand. And when ever I look into up-sizing the L1501, I'll probably shop around and see what else is out there. :)

For sure hang around when you can...and share what you have and are learning. Heck my neighbor has an antique green tractor I love, an Oliver, although what I'd do with a 50 hp tractor, I have no idea. I posted a picture of its 3pt draw bar because it is way safer than anything on our botas. Perfect for hauling and backing hay wagons. Point being please share what you learn.

thank you all!

was planning on hanging out still..... just wasnt sure how to contribute without having a kubota.

If you guys want i can continue the Woodland Mills Stumpgrinder thread with updates on it as a piece of equipment...

& YES im still bleeding orange & it even starts with a K! & if im the least bit unhappy with this purchase?

will go get another Kubota & listen to my Wife complain about the trails getting wider... as likely be that Grand L3560 like Sheepfarmer has.

SF: that is really the tractor i wanted to move to.... its just too BIG frame wise..

a footnote for everybody who reads this:: when you can do 0% .. its silly not to keep getting what you want.

You know Sdk1968 you could go join one of those other forums, but you have to realize you may ask a question and not get an answer for days or maybe ever. You'll find folks who love to argue and put you down and prove they're smarter, quicker, and better in every way. And what you built is wrong, and the way you do things is also wrong.

You probably won't get specific Kioti questions answered here, but you will get quick, good natured ideas on implements and projects without the BS and arguing on other forums.

Just list your new machine over there by your name and continue so when you ask questions we'll know your "adopted". :D

Absolutely a great bunch of folks on here :D Posted questions on a different tractor forum, starting with a mower question. Was a week before I had gotten a reply. Already had the issue solved. Had a question on something else and never got an answer. Saw lots of arguments. So...... The last time I posted a question on there, I asked something I had already knew the answer too, hoping to stir the pot :p:p

You can move but you always know where home is, good luck with your new tractor and keep us informed on how you like it.

This past summer i bought 4 dodges, one truck, a dart a duster and a barracuda. So my interests have moved to another forum. I still have my kubota, but even if i sold it i would still be around to enjoy this forum.
No reason to leave if you like the company, right?

The barracuda is getting a fair amount of my attention, learning about the car, building the engine and plans for moving forward with the long term project.
Still no reason to not roll through from time to time.

Tooljunkie I think we should get married or you should adopt me. I'd make a great wife as long as there is no sex involved, I can do dishes, clean around the house, work on your car, oh by the way what year is your Cuda?

"CUDA" did somebody say CUDA? There would'nt happen to be a 273, 340 or 440 or 426 in any of those other MOPARs would there?

And that's a fact my friend, just don't see there being one in this old guys future. I always loved the 340 Duster and Darts, but the 68 and 69 Charger or 70 and 71 Cuda with a 440-6 or the 426 Hemi would be my if I won the lottery car. So like I said, can't see one in my future.
