L2650 left side of engine.

I was doing a quick chore with the front end loader and saw oil on the front left tire. Shut down, removed left hood and saw a big empty spot below the alternator where oil was coming out.

I have not had this tractor long so please take it easy on me for not being familiar with what is supposed to be in this hole.

It was about 18 degrees and the tractor was running about 10 minutes before I realized this and shut it down.

Looking at that quickly.....it "looks" like the lower radiator hose goes there, but I am gonna bet that is not the case! :D:)

I would have to guess this is an oil cap? Or is there a cap on the top of the valve cover like most engines?

Can you take another picture looking at this from another angle? Like from the battery side looking back into the engine.

Thank you eserv...

I emailed my local dealer. I hope they have one in stock. I will look in the area where I was working first but suspect it's long gone.

If your dealer does not have the plug in stock you can fabricate something to cover the hole and keep using your tractor.

Be creative. I'd start out with a piece of zip log bag cut up and hold it on with a rubber band or zip tie.
