Kubota L2501 will not start. Check all fuses every thing is good. I got up off seat to take my foot to disengage the 4 wheel drive lost my balance had to sit back down hard on seat and tractor cut off. Tried to crank back will not click or try to turn over. Can someone please tell me what can be wrong. Thanks in advance

Based on what you describe....check the seat safety switch. Slamming it might have moved it and therefore will not allow it to start

Also i have tried to move the switch under seat and can hear a click sound coming from the area right in front of the steering wheel.

Is there any way to by pass switch to see if that is the problem. My tractor is a gear driven not the hst. Thanks

Seeing as your tractor is a DT then the only switches are the clutch switch and the PTO. The seat switch shouldn't stop it from starting! Have you checked to be sure you didn't hit the pto lever when you fell back into the seat?

Hello
The only two switches in the starting system are the PTO and the neutral safety switch. I would look closely at the neutral switch. It is behind the shift lever on the left fender. I have replaced several of them. I have also had the little lever on the switch get bent. The seat safety switch will not stop it from starting.
Good Luck Lance
