How many of you carry the Kubota insurance. Getting the BX2380 and the insurance is $1500 with a 250 deductible.

IF you have a loan with them - you have to have it .....or have your homeowners cover it with something equal to it.

The Kubota insurance is nice - if you trailer it, covered, if you run it up a tree, covered - if you run into your wife'car , tractors covered.....car aint!!!

Seems expensive - and it might be, but over a 5 year loan, it is a dollar a day...and yes I have it, it was right at a 1000 - 4.5 years ago!:D

It's worth it. Better coverage than your typical homeowners policy and costs less. Covers theft too and if you take it off your property (home owners won't).

Watch this...then decide.

I got it for my new L4701! When the dealership told me it not only covered the the tractor but the implements as well, it was a no brainer in my mind!

Definitely worth it. It covers a lot, and you don't have to deal with an insurance agent. Your Kubota dealer does all the work. All you do is pay the deductible. It is worth it, just for the peace of mind. :)

Recommend you balance the Kubota requirements of INS, VS what your home owners can provide with your agent. Mine ended up being cheaper with my Home owners (State Farm), but covered all the bases Kubota requires, had the State Farm agent verify with Kubota agent. This was all done before completing my L2501/HST/4WD/FEL purchase.

Kubota insurance covers all perils, except acts of war. They cover all physical damage, except acts of war. Damage on or off your property. They cover acts of stupidity also! They cover pickup and delivery.

Most homeowners policies have a $1000.00 deductible

Do you know if a person gets a refund on kubota insurance premium paid up front in the event loan is paid up in advance?

I just ordered a bx2380. Kubota Canada insurance was less than $1,500 for 7 years. It ended up being cheaper than my home insurance rider and way better coverage with lower deductible. Also, they tack it on the 0% interest loan payments so it was a pretty easy call for me. I've also heard positive examples of people that had to use this insurance. There doesn't seem to be a lot of "fighting" to get a claim through.
