B2601 LED Headlights

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to swap out the OEM headlights on my B2601 with brighter LED ones. I thought they were the same as GM 881 fog-light bulbs, but when I tried to use some, the plugs were different.

Does anyone know what the correct bulb/connector type is for the 2601?

Pretty sure they were 1157 or 1156's I'd have to go check what I grabbed for mine. You will have to swap around the wires as LED's are sensitive to polarity and they headlight sockets on the B2601 are wired backwards from every other light socket i have ever seen with the case positive and the post negative.

I found some Sylvania Zevo 7506 bulbs that were a direct fit and a huge improvement over stock bulbs. I believe I bought them at Advance Auto Parts, but I cant find them online anymore....they used the 1156 base (BA15?) And had a domed, opaque end on them. My next attempt at better light will be a high output LED array mounted to brush guard. The FEL plays havoc with good lighting on front of tractor.

Kubota should offer led lights. I know they do for the grand l series. Check with your dealer or if I remeber I'll check on Wednesday

The bulbs as stated have an 1156 base. Any led with that base will work. I picked up a package of 20 on ebay. Only issue you may run into is that the led bulbs may require you to swap the wires. The led bulbs are polarity sensitive.

This was one of the first upgrades I did on my b2601. I also added led floods attached to the grill guard. Amazing light while snow blowing from both.

I just ordered these, should be here in a couple days, they were recommended by another forum member. I'll let you know what I think of them.

I have been looking at short LED light bars to go on the front of my canopy. Lots of stuff on Amazon that looks promising.

Well -15C can't stop us crazy old posties, lights came in and their on and I have to say I'm impressed. If they look this bright in the day they should be a major improvement after dark.
