Hello,

maybe somebody can help me and share the information about the possible capacity of a front-lifter or 3ph, that the front-axle does not get damaged and leaking.
A lot here have built their own front 3ph and I am collecting infos to get the dimensions of the cylinders and steelframe.

Has someboy infos about the limits of weight the axel can stand?

Thanks.

Hello,

if you like to see some pictures, here is a link from a guy in Germany who did his version last month:
http://www.landtreff.de/kubota-fronthydraulik-eigenbau-t57295.html
It's in german, but you will figure out what kind of steel and dimensions he has used. Really a lot of pictures...
He just startet without a drawing. A piece that fit, got welded... :)

Cabu, I don't know how much weight the front axle can handle, but the B219 FEL payload limit on my B7100 is 500 lbs. Considering the weight of the FEL, the front axle must be handling 700 lbs of weight beyond the weight of the tractor.

What will you be using the front 3ph for?

Hello,

standart attachments like a rotary broom, snow-blade, small bucket, chain harrow (mole).

So if the 3ph and attachment will below 700lbs (320kg) it would be in the limits.
Thanx for the info.

The reason why I want to be sure is, if I would attach a bucket and lift something like a root of a tree but it is not free to be lifted, the hydraulics should not exceed the power over the maximum capacitiy of the front axle.

Maybe somebody has the official info from a handbook? I believe there is more then one person her who would be interested in this... :)

Front lift capacities are rated by the loader rather than by the axle.

The b219 loader for the b6000 and the YFL 155 for the yanmar 135/155ds all are rated at 500lbs at full lift if the rear is ballasted.

How have you attached your 3ph front loader to your tractor?

If there is a subframe that involves the rear axle, you should be good at 500lbs or but would need weight on the rear.

If the rear axle is not involved, the front axle will be bearing all the weight and caution should be used.

When lifting the tree root, why not use the rear 3ph? That will put the pressure on the much stronger rear axles only.
