As per my comment on my turf tire thread, the rear hubs on my b2750 seem to be turned backwards, nuts on the inside of the rims, what's this about? If it suits the offset of my new rims, any issue with turning them?

Got a bit of wrenching time before the rain got heavy, went ahead and turned the hubs so studs are facing outwards, confirmed the impliment rims will fit,and set the hubs so there will be a extra inch or so between the sidewall and fender, should acomidate chains if needed. With the narrower tires(10.5 instead of 13.5) the tracking width should now be a couple inches narrower than my 48" snowblower, and about equal to the outer tread path of the front wheels. This is in theory ,will see when I get the tires mounted.
Still wondering if I should get them loaded, maybe studded instead of chains?

Thanks Wolfman, good to know it is. a effective combo.studs are illegal for road use here, hope I can find a shop that will install them,or alternatively, does anyone know or have experience with a do it yourself stud install? Don't want to have to spend mbig bucks on special tools

Here's a snow/ice stud that installs with common tools.
LOL. The picture of the studded tire in that ad is NOT of those screw-in studs in an ATV tire! It's a stock photo of a snow tire with factory pockets for press-in studs. The installation directions under "see more product details" are a cut-and-paste mixture of installation instructions for inserted studs and instructions for a different kind of screw-in studs used with tubed tires. The main description states they can be installed with simple hand tools (true for that style), but the expanded directions indicate a pneumatic stud gun is required (false).

The vendor's feedback is pathetic -- 100% negative for the last 30 days, 38% negative over the last 90.

My neighbour uses screw-in studs in his Ag tires during the winter, and he loves them. (He blows out driveways commercially around here with a large Kyote.) But I certainly wouldn't buy anything from that particular vendor!

They are much more aggressive than the turfs, and the footprint of the reare has been reduced by 4" ,to 44", and each wheel has a additional inch of clearance between the inside sidewall and the fender. I believe this will work better with chains,if I choose to use them, and the narrower footprint will work better with my 48" rear mounted snowblower

Is the rolling circumference of the truck tires the same as the original tires? I'm just wondering if they are going to cause problems with the 4wd system.

Yes,they are exact, not just in one revolution, but I rolled one of each, side by side for about a hundred and fifty feet and the both came back to the mark on the sidewall in the same number of revolutions
