I ordered it a few days ago, should be here soon. For years on my smaller tractor I have used a Protec snow pusher, the type you pick up with your FEL bucket, using it's built in pick points. But with my recent purchase of my bigger L3301, the 5' wide Protec is being replaced.
When I realized the wide variety of implements available that fit the universal skid steer type mount (the thing I like most about my new 3301, I still giggle every time I change out my FEL bucket to the forks, SO quick and easy) it was a simple matter to google "snow blades", and that led to me buying this 72" blade from Attachments Direct, a big selling point being their location, Minnesota! I opted for the manually adjusted angle blade, as my compound's layout is such that I couldn't see the added cost and complexity of a hyd. angle change. I have an open cab and always am dressed in my snowmobile suit when plowing, so when needed it will be no big deal to pull the pin and change the angle. It weighs about 600 lbs, so more ballast, and I have chains for all four tires. I live near a ski area, at close to 6 K, so snow removal is a fairly serious business up here, plus we get a lot of wind. I'm keeping my PTO 5' blower on the rear, this 6 foot blade plus the bigger FEL bucket plus the added power and weight of my new bigger tractor is making me look forward to the first good dump. I'll post a few pictures of the blade and my impressions of it when it arrives.
