Air Bubbles in fuel line

Kubota D1402B a 3 cylinder is getting air bubbles at ONLY #2 fuel line, loosened the connection at the injector to bleed out the air for more than 15 minutes several times any ideas? Thanks!

Dumb question, how do you know YOU have air in that cylinder?
Could it be a "bad" injector instead or when you crack the injector, is it spitting bubbles and not a solid stream of diesel?

I swapped the injector with the #1 injector and no change?

Both#1 and#3 have a solid fuel stream when cracking the fuel line feeding the injectors but #2 has consistent air bubbles?

If you have air bubbles before he injector , the injector is not the problem. The first thing I would check is the tightness of the delivery valves. This is the piece that the injector line attaches to at the top of the injection pump. If one is lose that cylinder will not fire.Remove the lines from the injection pump. Then check them with a 19 MM box end wrench. When did this problem start. Did you run it out of fuel.

Yes, I had made sure both ends of the line from the inj pump to the injector was tight, could there be a cracked fitting and not be leaking fuel? Thanks for your input!

Did you check the fitting below the injector line on top of the injection pump. This would be the nut that takes a 19mm wrench.

Check dipstick to see if you have any increase of oil in your oil pan ,if you have you it's most likely fuel adding which means you probably have a worn injector element in you injector pump, It would explain why you are getting air in your #2 injector ,, the tolerance is very fine and any wear will show up with those symptoms.....

Double checked and all lines and fitting are tight but still getting air bubbles at the #2 injector the other two are fine.
Could the fitting on the fuel line to #2 be sucking air or the injector pump be introducing air to only #2?

Appreciate all input!
