Wondering if any ones know the difference between the Kubota UDT-2 and Super UDT-2 oils.
Is the super UDT-2 for colder climates? Just want to put the correct hyd. in.

UDT-2 is semi synthetic and Super UDT-2 is full synthetic. The SUDT-2 will work better in all climates. Better performance all the way around and is what all Kubota tractors are factory filled with now. If you want your tractor to perform like it does now use the SUDT2 fluid.

I've read that before, but wonder if that is really accurate. From what I can tell, SUDT-2 (a Kubota USA trademarked product made by Valvoline) is only available in the US. It can't even be got in Canada (we get "Premium UDT" -- a Kubota Canada trademarked non-synthetic made by Shell Canada).

Given the amount of assembly that the dealer has to do to turn the crated parts into a working tractor, I wonder if it is up to the dealer to fill the fluids too. It would be cheaper than shipping bulk fluids to Japan and then paying shipping on the additional weight for the return trip.

I suspect that it may be more accurate to say SUDT-2 is the factory-specified fill.

Don't know about the Canada stuff but I talked to a man that works at the Gainsville Kubota plant. He said every machine they produce leaves with SUDT-2 because they have no idea where it will end up as far as cold climate areas. So to save confusion they put the best fluid in from the start that way they are ready to serve anywhere.

I had a 2370-1 that whined like crazy. I changed out the fluid to SUDT-2 and it was a major improvement. I'll change out the fluid to SUDT-2 on my 2680 at 50 hours for the same reason. Money well spent!

Well if you got it from the horse's mouth, then that settles that.

I wonder if any US built Kubota's come north of the border? It would be ironic for the US to ship them up here with the good stuff, and then the folks in the cold climate replace it with dyno oil after 50 hours or so.
