I use Chevron THF 1000. It says UDT compatible. Chevron is a reputable company and it's what I have available locally without driving 50 miles one way to buy Kubota Fluids. Granted the M9540 is not a hydrostatic transmission but it does have a hydraulic clutch. I have put 50 hrs on the machine with no issues. I ran it for several hundred hours in a M7040 with a mechanical shuttle with no issues.

Hokie,
I know there is really no comparison. I think if I had a hydrostatic transmission I would stick with the Super UDT since the fluid actually moves the tractor. From my understanding the the brakes, the PTO and Main clutch all run in fluid on the Hydraulic shuttle model. Hydraulic fluid is a lot cheaper that pumps, bearings, gears and clutches.
