I have one of the infamous hydraulic pumps driven off the crankshaft. Like many others, the coupling is stripped out, and I've been ruminating on which direction I want to go. I've finally decided to just put the loader back on the onboard hydraulics. I already have the quick connects to make the connections, (I think). As I understand it the one on the block, on the transmission is the supply, and the one below it is the return. I'm posting pics for reference below. Also anyone have any idea what size these hoses would be?

3/8" two wire hydraulic hose. The problem with you setup is I don't think you can use your three point while you're using your loader. The return oil is going back to the transmission. You need a block with a in and out port. I have what you need. If you would like to send me a PM I can help you with every thing you need.

is coupler keyed shaft or Splined?

Maybe if it is splined if you can figure out how to get an adapter to keyed and push everything slightly forward to accommodate.

The block that you have on the hydraulics is the wrong block, it will not work like you need it too.
The right block will have 2 fittings on it, one port will be out to the loader valve and the other will be return from the loader valve.

The block on top is equipped with a valve. If you push it in, it isolates the 3pt, and sends power to the port on the block. That's not that big of a deal for me, as I rarely us both at the same time. If I'm hauling in the loader, I usually put a weight on the 3pt and keep it up. I think it's there in reality to run something hooked to the 3pt like a backhoe, or a splitter. I wouldn't be against swapping it out if it's not an arm and a leg.

I just went back out to look at it again, and noticed there is a port on the side where the handle is. I'm wondering if I can hook a quick connect to it, and run it that way.

I've never seen on with a lever on it. :confused:

I think you will be wanting the pump on the front for the increased hyd. flow. Pump is not much but does help the loader work faster. My backhoe has a separate pump for the same reason.
