Horn harness

Hello I bought a horn switch from my dealer but now I need the plug to go with it. The dealer can't seem to find me one.says I have to buy a whole dash harness. Can anyone help me out with a part number for the female plug and pins. Thanks

Sadly you can not buy just the plug or the pins.
If the tractor doesn't have the pug already in it, what are you hooking the switch to?

That is one sad Kubota inventory, it looks like every one they have is burnt to the ground.

At least West Kentucky Tractor Parts ( http://wkytpstore.com/ ) as some non burnt parts.

Thanks for the post on Mid-South Salvage. Great place. Found a bunch of parts for my John Deere and my Massey Ferguson 1105 not everything is burned up there a lot of great Treasures . Great people to deal with. Thanks James

Check with a Kubota service department. Most equipment manufacturers have kits with electrical connectors parts for replacing connectors in wiring harnesses when there is troubles. That way if the pins or plastic housing breaks, it can be repaired without replacing the whole harness. I have in the past obtained the parts to fix electrical connectors on equipment of other brands (John Deere AG and Construction, Claas, Case/IH). These repair parts are not listed in the parts diagrams for a particular tractor model. They would be located in a more general listing of parts and repair items that fit many models, sort of a generic "Fits All". You would have to have access to Kubota's parts to find these types of things not something you would find on the public parts website. A good parts man would know how to find them. Nowadays, finding a good parts man or woman is hard. If the computer doesn't show it in a couple seconds then it's not there. I hope you can find someone to help you because you should be able to find what you need.

Maybe try an autoparts store?
Autozone has a misc repair items.
Or tractor supply?

Thanks for the help. I'm still not finding what I need. Does anyone know what style of plug this is? I found a site that has all kinds of pins but I need to know style it is. thanks

I can't really tell from a photo. Suggest that you measure the blade in mm. Then look at Sumitomo automotive connectors with that blade width to see if you can get a match.

If just not gonna get a match, then I would buy the female pins and use potting to seal them to the switch.

You may want to find a switch that does not need a special wiring harness.

bxray, you're making this way too simple. I like the idea of a dealer saying you need a new wiring harness for a horn!!
