I had asked if an old bedframe was strong enough for backhoe dolly and concluded probably not. But having found some 1/2" x 5" skid plate in my supply I decided to give it a try on the theory the plate would hold the wieght; the frame just ties it together. I added plywood to the top to recess the wheel bolts and make it a little easier on the paint.
It works, but, I would still use something heavier than a bedframe if I did it again.
