I'm new to the forum and new to tractors.
I bought into my family's 8,000 acre ranch about 4 years ago. I own about 40 acres with a house, several out buildings, and about 5 acres of pine trees. Long story short, I have been struggling with a pick and shovel; I need a tractor.
I have saved $10K and found a 1997 Kubota L2350 with about 780 hours on it. It has a box grader, post hole digger, sprayer, FEL, and a tiller. The only other implement I would need is a mower, but I will have to find that later.
The seller is willing to give it to me for $10K....is this a solid deal? What should I look for when buying?
Thoughts?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum and 85Hokie knows his stuff. Get ready for a life changing event with a Kubota. I know that sounds dramatic but in the month I've had mine I've built an incredibly stronger relationship with my son in law as he now has a partner on the 40 acre family playground.

and when it is to nasty to "work" the tractor you can always sit on it in the dry shop and make "tractor sounds"
