I fired it up last night. It worked great. Mowed for 5 mins. Started seeing white smoke come out and started losing power and revs. It slowly died.

Tried to start again, only white smoke coming out. Waited 1 hour, same result.

Waiting 12 hours. Same thing.

Tried cranking while holding fuel cutoff to clear out the fuel. White smoke goes away. Still won't start when I let fuel back in.

So it seems something broke. Any thoughts?

Sounds to me like you might have contaminated fuel, either water or algae.

Check fuel filter and check for unrestricted fuel flow at the pump, after the filter. You could also have debris in the line from the tank to the filter.
Also check your user manual, there's probably an air bleeder knob on the side of the pump.

Ditto sounds as if there's a lack of fuel problem to IP

So I finally got some time this weekend to look at this issue. Went to loosen the IP bleeder screw and it snapped off.

*sigh* Sometimes I think this tractor hates me.

I drained the diesel today and flushed the lines. After putting some new diesel in and purging the air, it started up!

However, it only ran for 15 minutes. WTH!?!?

This is exactly what it did last time. Anything else I can check?

I'll try starting it tomorrow and running it again. But I suspect it'll only run for about 15 mins.
