My B7100 smokes a lot. Does anyone have any suggestions on a quick fix. I seem to remember years ago that there was a substance that you can put into the cylinders that help the pistons seal more?

Here's a link to a video showing the smoke it's much worse under load. There's also smoke comming out of the vent on top of the rocker cover.

Any comments & advice greatfully received - https://youtu.be/7ixWzzCzgUo

Thanks in advance

Hmm, if that is excessive smoke, then I have a problem as well. You are talking only about bypass smoke, and not any exhaust smoke, correct?

Does it have adequate power?

It has good power, but when under stress smokes badly. The biggest thing I ommited was that it looses water and overheats.

Many thanks

Blown head gasket or cracked head.
And no there is no magic oil or fluid to fix it, it simply needs taken apart and rebuilt. ;)

I would agree with wolfman, coolant loos is bad enough and repeatedly overheating is just destroying the engine.
I too 3rd that notion.......and running it as is....will cost more to fix!

My B8200 smoked like that. It had a crack in the head. I bought a rebuilt one and had it installed by a Craigslist mechanic. Then did my own valve adjustment which apparently he overlooked.
