I want a turning plow. I was thinking that I would get a 12" 1 bottom. I have the opportunity to get a 12" 2 bottom for $250. I don't have the rears loaded on my B7800, although I'm thinking of doing that. At 30hp, I have the hp, but do I have the weight and traction to pull a 2 bottom? My old 25ph Ford would, but it weighs twice what the B7800 does.

Thanks for your input.

My manual for my B3200, which is about the same tractor as yours from what I have been told, says it can pull a 12 inch 2 bottom plow.

In my opinion you will definitely want the rear tires loaded. I have plowed with my AC WD with and without. With the tires loaded, you get enough more traction to make it seem like you have double the HP and torque available.

Like its often said with a Kubota you'll loose traction long before you loose power. I say fill up the rear tires and give it a shot. Whats the worse that could happen, you till up dirt?
