M6060 vs L6060?

The M is far more machine. But that does not make it better. Big doesn't always fit the needs.
They are both Kubota top of the line models. Very difficult to say one is better than the other when you are comparing different size machines. Just because they both have the same HP does not put them to where they are really comparable.
Now for your own requirements, there can be a day and night difference, but you didn't want to put that on the table, so to be able to list out pros and cons properly is really about impossible IMO.

What Brian said, we have an L5740HSTC as well as an M8540HDC one is Better" for some things and the other is "better" than others; no good way to answer your question without some parameters.
I am looking at these as well to upgrade in a few years.
Biggest difference is the transmissions and the size of the machine.
Grand L is only available with the HST plus trans, while the M6060 is only available with the F8/R8 transmission. While the M7060 is available with the F12/R12 or the F8/R8 transmission. Are you looking at an open station or cab model?

Same idea here as to future upgrading...large frame vs. compact frame...it 'seems' like the bigger tractor would be better, IF one did not have to transport it to and from...But I will be watching this thread as I am wondering the same...also regarding price...

What do you plan on doing with it? Average hours per year? All you said was general. Seems like your wanting other people to do the homework comparing the two models. Find a dealer that has both and make a trip.
