I have a L3450 that needs an engine. I'm having a hard time finding one. Is there another engine model or one out of another machine that will fit my tractor.
It has a hole in the block crankshaft is no longer usable broke a connecting rod and injection pump needs to be rebuilt. What's wrong with the you have?

Thank you that's the information I was looking for.Older V2203 IDI or V2203 DI will work for a V1902 DI replacement.
You need to make sure that the fuel cam shaft does not have a pressed on secondary fuel cam lobe on the back end, it needs to have the cam that has the removable secondary fuel can so it will run your hydraulic pump gear.
You might also need to do some machine work to the bell housing to get it to bolt on, it's a rather minor change.Thank you that's the information I was looking for.
Thanks I'm watching your post to see how it works out. Just nervous to spend the money on an engine that won't fit inI would recommend you find a V2203 IDI easier to find for your needs, will save you a lot of issues as the 2203 DI are easy to find too but not for our application, there is a lot more work to do to make it work in our application. I am hoping to do a test firing of my engine here this coming week to see if it will run before bolting it back up to the tractor.
Everything else wolfman said about the clutch housing is true. Had my local machine shop rework mine for me.
I sent you a PM, my project is complete and up and running. Any questions ask away. Here is the thread of my project. I time pending may do another condensed version to cut it down to just the facts of the swap. Thanks I'm watching your post to see how it works out. You have a 1.8 liter 3 cylinder engine. This swap is probably not going to work for your newer tractor. Maybe best to bite the bullet and buy a new reman engine in your case.
Yes sir as will V2203 engines. If you do as I did and get a newer V2203 DI out of a reefer unit it probably won't have the right fuel injection pump cam but you can send yours into Delta cams as they now have a pattern to regrind one for the application now. just need to send your 1902 cam to them to have reground. I had to pay a bit extra to have them build a pattern jig.It is a 4 cylinder I see some skidsteers with 1902 engines. Will any 1902 bolt in
