L3800 seat swap/upgrade

Anyone have a L3200 or L3800 changed their seat to a better model?
I was at the dealer a few months ago and noticed the seats on the L3901's are much better. Looking at the parts diagrams for both they should swap out but I will have to take my seat to the dealer to confirm. They are about $270
I'm not really looking for one with arm rest, just more comfortable.

I have been questioning the same, when I was shopping for tractors I did notice the 3901 has a much better seat. I will be investigating the possibility in the next month.

Well I ordered a seat Monday after going to the dealer and took some measurements.
Also I would like to add the new L2501 have the same seat as the older L3200/L3800 so it would be a upgrade for those owners as well.

Hmmmm. Do you have a link to the seat you ordered? I'd like to see a pic of it.

Got the seat in today and installed it. Had to drill two holes in the original seat brackets to make it work. First impressions is it's lower than the original, should help with leg fatigue if your shorter like me. Also the back is higher than the original.
Definitely an upgrade in my book because I hated the constant feeling of sliding forward the original seat had.

I don't have the link. I ordered it from messicks, it's under L3901 hood/bonnet seat

Does the 3900 seat have flip up arm rests ? I'd love to upgrade my seat but if its lower I'm 6' so I don't think lower would work for me.

That seat is some serious $$. The L3901 seat does not have arm rest. It feels lower probably like an inch, just the way the seat is shaped. Go to the dealer and sit on a L3901 only way to tell for sure if you'd like it.
