Valve timing

My skidsteer has a Kubota V 1902 B engine in it and I need to set the valves. I can find the marks on the pulley but cannot find an arrow to line them up with. What am I missing( besides the arrow) Anybody know where it is located at

Why not watch the intake rocker close and rotate 90 degrees?

EOIC method. Works every time. Google it.

I agree, the EOIC (Exhaust Open/Intake Close) method has been the most accurate for me and is very quick and easy. You are adjusting when the lifters are on the base circle of the cam this way.

You say you need to "set the valves" do you mean you need to adjust the valve lash or did you take something off and you need to re-time the cam?

I worded it wrong I had to replace the head gasket and then reset the valves after. I would have had it all back together today but I had to go to the VA. tomorrow hope to have it back running. Everything is all set just need to put the exhaust manifold on and alt on
