i have a B3350 less than 150 hours - has been in shop more than in my garage - regen problems, clicking not starting, etc.... Dealer has replaced starter, wiring harness, computer, dashboard. Final achieved a regen. but now after running for an hour two the machine will shut down and will not start for up to 45 minutes - then it magically starts???? at wits end and so is dealer. Funny tho, after reading forums - he keeps telling me i am the only one experiencing issues?????

Regrettably yours is not the only B3350 to have problems. Some are doing fine, and it may be they are mostly in warmer climates, but there are quite few that have had problems. Is your dealer aware of all the updates in software and hardware from Kubota for this model? Of all of the Kubota models that have a dpf filter to regenerate, this one has the most complicated process, and the one most likely to be sensitive to cold and available electrical power from the tractor.

It is in your dealers best interest to keep fixing it. He gets paid every time while you lose your machine and have to pay for the transport. Clearly, a losing scenario for you. He is either a moron, or dishonest. Either way I would try to find a new dealer.
If he is forced to take it back. He's stuck with it until Kubota can figure out how to fix it. My old 3350 is sitting on my old dealers lot for a year now with "managers special" written on the front windshield.
Contact Kubota directly if he is unwilling to work with you. I traded down to the 2650 after getting jerked around for months. You can keep your implements and all they have to do is swap out a frame.
Its inconsiderate and morally reprehensible. But hey, thats business.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. The internet has a long memory, and Kubota may regret not buying back the 3350 tractors and getting their customers in a reliable machine immediately. Even the 3350's without problems will be hard to sell imho. There are several on eBay that have been up for sale for months already, but they seem to be asking full retail (or more).
I was fortunate that when shopping for a larger tractor the problems with this model were well documented.

The dealer has been awesome - just seeing how many other folks have had problems. He keeps telling me I am the only one having issues - now I know that is B.S. - Does anyone know about "lemon laws" and do they apply to tractors????

It's a grey area since it's considered off-road. Your best bet is to call Kubota directly. You regional service rep will take over. Don't waste any more time.

I agree with NEPA Guy! If the dealer won't take the tractor back then call Kubota directly. The B3350 has been a problem from day one, they should make it right by letting you trade it in for something different.
I was lucky that I knew through my work how bad a DPF system (in trucks) can be and when I first saw the B3350 with that system I just moved on to the B2650. It's really sad that the government is ruining perfectly good diesel trucks & tractors.
If you get them to take it back I would look at the B2650 or the L2501, neither have tier 4 engine emissions requirements. Although I've heard the L series tractors with the tier 4 emissions systems haven't had the issues the B3350 has had, if you want more hp.

the reason i went with the 3350 was the mid PTO to allow me to snow blow driving forward - I am concerned the 2650 will not have the over all power i need for that and other general tractor related tasks. As stated earlier, the dealer has really worked with me on this - you know, it is not his fault - Kubota really needs to stand up here!!
Time to go to "green tractor talks" maybe.........

I've got the front mount blower and plow on mine. It can do the job, you just have to go a bit slower. I had a semi successful season blowing snow with the 3350 last year. When it worked, it worked well.
Yes, I wish I had the extra horsepower. But all in all, its not a bad tractor. My BIGGEST complaint is the HST whine. Bugs the hell outta me. That, and a few stupid little things that went wrong with the machine.
If you can swing a full refund, go green and don't look back.
FYI, If you look at green that doesn't mean you won't have the same issues. It's a EPA law that any diesel over 26hp has to have special emission requirements. Now I cant speak about green's emission systems they might be better. But I do know we have yet get a diesel truck (regardless of maker) at my work where the emission system works as intended and they spent a lot of time in the repair shop.

I would like give a shout-out to the dealer Value Implement out of Bloomer, WI and in particular to Russ and Scott. After several weeks of work, testing and replacement - I believe they finally got things working.
They replaced:
the starter, the complete wiring harness, dash and computer, and lastly the exhaust system and battery, that seems to have done the trick.
Oh, and they picked up and delivered the unit two or three times a 180 mile round trip!!

How's your B3350 running? I was about to go buy one until I came on here and saw all the issues with them. I found a good deal on a 2016 model. What model is yours?
on top of what you had replaced, my b3350 received a hotter thermostat, larger alternator, new particulate filter unit, all sensors and it's still wouldn't run properly. took over six months to complete a buyback. received full purchase price, which the b2650 price increased to near the same as what i paid for the b3350.
i received no credit for a year of payments. for a tractor that was usable for less than 110 days out of a year..

B3350 CAB owner, tractor has performed flawless so far 105 hours 3 regens all work great auto mode never touch a bottom.

They don't know. Some 3350s work, some don't. I got a lemon. As did others.
MY advice. Don't take the chance. Unless you want to risk losing time and money.
If I want to do that, I'll go to the casino to have a few drinks and oogle the barmaids content in the knowledge I still have a working tractor in my garage and maybe even come home with a couple of bucks in my pocket, and her phone number...
