Looking to see what this should be filled with. I have the shop manual which says 3.3 US Quarts, then I saw a page online that said 4.1 US Quarts. What is everyone filling their tractors to? I put a full gallon in last time I did a chance, since the tractor has the wrong dipstick I really have no idea what the right amount should be.

Yea thats what i thought too, its frustrating since someone put an extension tube on my tractor for the dipstick and put some random dipstick in it which reads as 2 quarts is full. So whoever had it before me ran the tractor at 2 quarts for a while.

I cant find a good picture of the dipstick and dipstick tube online so i can mimick it. I talked to messicks and they said the stock or oem dipsick just pushes into the block without any bushing?

frdf250, doesn't the B8200 use the D950 engine like my B7200? If so my engine does not have a dipstick tube, just a drilling and chamfer into the block. I can take pictures if you think it will help. Jeff.

In another thread there are pictures and a full run down on his dip stick mismatch situation.
It turns out the motor has been swapped out from a Jacobson lawn mower and there are other parts on it that are different than the tractor version.
This is another reason 4.1 is the right number in this case. ;)
