M7060 - 3-Point Hitch control lever at the rear of tractor.

On several videos that are on the 'net I've noticed a 3-point hitch control lever that is located at the back of the M7060 tractor which makes it easier to connect an implement (see photo below). Does anyone know where one of these can be purchased?

By-the-way, the videos I'm referring to are from European countries so maybe this option is unique for them.

I am with Hodge. Looked at hundreds of Kubotas before I bought mine and never saw that lever on any of them.

I agree it is frustrating trying to hook up my snowblower each fall. It means countless in and of of the cab to get both arms in place.

I don't have any experience with the quick attached devices which are like hooks which come up under the pins of the implement and remain attached to the 3 pt all the time.

Perhaps you could make a rod to use which would connect to the inside lever and come outside the cab to be able to move the lever from outside. On second thought I would be removing the plastic panel inside the cab to look at what the inside lever is moving and trying to connect the rod at that point.

Here's a video showing the lever. One can see it is clearly on an M7060 and it can be seen in operation at around 4:08. I doubt that it is against OSHA rules as the Kubota M6 series offer fender button controls, where the hydraulics are controlled by solenoids.

I suspect that the lever on the rear may not be offered in this country because of safety regulations. The fender mounted controls on most brands of tractors are designed to operate the three point hitch at an extremely slow speed so that the operator can move the hitch but not get hurt or pinned by the normal quick movements of the hitch.

I'd put money on it not being legal here in the US. Kubota isn't the only manufacturer that we aren't seeing them on. I've never seen factory rear controls on a modern tractor, here in the states; if it were legal, they'd be offering it as a lucrative option.

... and you would lose! Here's one that John Deere offers and it will even move the tractor. Kubota offers the same hydraulic options (tractor doesn't move though) on their M6 series tractors, and yes, in the states! Most larger tractors offer this option.

Actually most companies offer it particularly on cabbed tractors larger than CUT. They usually have an electric switch located on the rear of the fender or 2 buttons to move the hitch up or down at an extremely slow speed. They have been offered since the late 1980's. Very helpful when trying to get pins aligned when you don't have a quick hitch.

Not the ones I've seen on the John Deeres or the Kubotas. The fender buttons operate the 3PT the same speed as in the cab.

If that's a Category 2 tractor get some Pat's quick hitches, or if all of your implements are the same width maybe just look at a regular quick hitch.

They actually had several options I liked on theirs but don't seem to be offered in the states. I like the deep lug tires, especially the wider front tire. The stock R-1's on the front seem to be too narrow.

It is available in the U.K. The parts catalogs for foreign countries are locked to US ip addresses. So if we have any European/ U.K. Readers or if some body can get the part(s) numbers I will pursue this. I am pretty crippled up anymore and getting in and out of a cap to hook up a three point attachment isn't going to cut it.

There is a flaw in your theory! The U.S. dealers will be in the same situation when ordering the parts! My suggestion is to find a dealer in the UK and order the parts and then ship them to your address. FYI you may want to see if there is a wholegoods number so #1 it's cheaper, #2 it will have all the necessary parts #3 you will get installation instructions in English!
