Got the backhoe off and mounted the quick hitch, and land plane to clean up the driveway and private road before it starts to freeze. That white stuff is coming!

I copied a buddy's land plane, about $260.00 worth of metal and Kubota Orange paint. Saved me over $1,000 over one from the tractor place, and this ones the right color!

Looks great! Post a video of it in action if possible.

I was thinking of doing something similar. Wolfman: do you pull yours behind the B7100? If so, how wide and how heavy is your plane?

That land plane is toooo big for your tractor. As you can tell from the pics, it has caused the tractor to do a nose stand. ;) :p :D

I don't use my B7100 I use my L3450, but you could use it, it doesn't weigh much, like 150 to 200 at most.
And it doesn't take much HP to pull it, normally it only pulls about 4" of material.

The plane is 6' wide, and the blades are set to 1/2" depth. So in really soft material, the side rails keep the plane from digging down too deep. It's like a wood plane, you set the depth, and do small cuts at a time. On my gravel road, it cleaned the top layer off, rolls over the top of each blade, and fills the pot holes as you go
