Of course I just bought a New BX25D!

Any thoughts on how much better the new BX80 Series is?

and here is the high note :

"The BX1880, BX2380 and the BX2680 are equipped with a rollover protection system, which now conveniently fits through most standard 7-ft high garage door openings"

dayum - a dollar short and years too late!:p

AND now the new BX25D will be called a "Kubota BX23S" -mmmm.... this ought to be fun for the next couple of years!:D:)

Yes, the pictures I believe are from the Kubota national dealer meeting in Grapevine TX. Just shown to the dealers starting on Thursday.

Hopefully, they eliminated that damn two piece hood!

And the ROPS was an issue with garage doors. Ask me how I know!

I know it sounds foolish, but when I bought my tractor, both the 60's and 70's were available.
I wanted the '60 solely for the shorter ROPS.

How do you know??? lol

I was just about to pull the trigger on a bx2370. 1500 rebate and 84 month 0% financing is attractive. 14k with mower and loader. Should I wait??? I only have a 7ft garage. The 70 won't fit with it folded down? Can you take it off?? I only have flat land. Any other advice I would appreciate. I was also considering the 1870. I have 2 acres. I thought the 23 would sell faster if needed to.

It's up to you on what series! The new ones have the JD style loaders so you don't have to get off the machine to mount or dismount the loader. Not sure it's an option at this point?

Of course with the new ones won't have the incentives that the old ones have. And I am sure that they will go up in price! We were told a few weeks ago by our Kubota TSM to have 6 months of BX's on the lot or on order before production ends on the old.

Looks like the backhoe has a larger rear bucket then the 12" mine came with.

"A 16-inch bucket, for even more productivity, and a mechanical thumb, for picking up items such as logs, are optional on the new BX23S."

Next question......does the new 16" bucket fit the older backhoes? BT601/602?

I had my bx25 for all of five minutes before I ripped the trim off the garage door. The trim is still laying on the floor of the garage.....reminding me of my humility.

Crap...I just started considering trading in my bx2670 for bx25D. I've been fighting the urge. This doesn't help at all.

As a note.. I traded my 2015 bx23 70 in for a new bx23s in early Jan. 11 hours snow clearing on it so far and I really like the 80 series. Especially the rops having pre drilled holes that I attached my lights to and was able to fish the wired inside it. No more zip tied rops. The 23s rops is the same hight as the 25d ones.

Amongst other options.. you can choose from 3 sizes of bh bucket.

I stopped by my dealer yesterday after work. They had a bx23s. Got a quote worked up but couldn't pull the trigger. I think they were a bit low on their offer for my 2015 bx2670 with 137 hours on it. Any advice? May go to another local dealer to see what they offer.

I'd have to check my paperwork to be sure, but I believe I got 12 or 13k CAD on my trade. It had 107 hours. I kept my MMM. My dealer told me that I would get almost what I paid for it back if I sold it on my own. But I didn't sell it myself. Didn't want the headache.

I see. That's about what I was figuring but wasn't sure. I was offered $7k for my 2670 with 137 hrs on it. Didn't quite feel right.

considering they are Gona flip it for almost 2 times that. lol.

If i had the patience i should have sold it on the side. but at the same time I don't feel i got ripped off by my dealer.

Now, keep in mind I'm in canada.. so that was CAD. i think USD numbers would look lower

Yeah, I'd expect there to be some difference but not quite that much. I'll be getting a second offer from another dealer. Thanks for the info!

Second dealers offer was $5,600 higher at $12,600. Should be receiving quote from 3rd dealer on Monday. He also told me I'd be further ahead to try to sell on craigslist or locally. Which makes sense but don't want the hassle and have no idea how long that would take. I'm sure the 0% interest financing would also make it very difficult.
